"Sock" Blankie progress

I started a sock yarn blanket last June (with worsted weight acrylic yarn, hence the quote around "sock" in the title) and I started working on it again a couple of weeks ago. This is what I've done so far :)

I love, love, LOVE it!!! Some of my favorite things I have are afghans my grandma crocheted, and now that she's passed, every time I curl up with one I think of her. This is just BEAUTIFUL and is sure to be a cherished treasure. It really looks great!
